01 — About

A computer science background, applied to the web.

I'm Srijan Shrestha, a developer from Nepal studying Computer Science and Information Technology (BSc CSIT) at Amrit Science Campus (ASCOL). My coursework gave me the fundamentals; building for the web is where I put them to work.

On the backend I work with Python and Django — models, views, APIs and the logic that keeps an application predictable. On the frontend I build interfaces with React.js, Next.js, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and Tailwind CSS, with a bias toward speed, clarity and accessibility.

I also come from a creative background, so I care about how a product looks and feels as much as how it is built. That combination is what I enjoy most: shipping digital products that are genuinely useful and considered from the first pixel to the last query.

03 — Journey

How I got here.

  1. Foundations

    BSc CSIT at Amrit Science Campus

    Studied computer science fundamentals — data structures, algorithms, databases and software engineering — which still shape how I reason about problems before writing code.

  2. Backend

    Python and Django

    Moved from scripts to full applications: modelling data, writing views and APIs, and learning how to keep server-side logic clear and maintainable.

  3. Frontend

    React.js, Next.js and Tailwind CSS

    Built component-driven interfaces, learned rendering and routing in Next.js, and started designing with utility-first CSS instead of fighting stylesheets.

  4. Shipping

    ShreePrati and ongoing work

    Now building and maintaining real products end to end — designing the interface, writing the logic, and improving them based on how people actually use them.
